-- Home Textiles Today, 3/26/2001 12:00:00 AM
NEW YORK-Celanese Acetate has opened a fabrics library at its headquarters here that includes swatches from approximately 75 converters and knitters that use the company's acetate fibers.
Called Celanese Acetate Global Studios, the 270-square-foot space divides the swatches by geographic area: domestic, including East Coast and West Coast; Asia; Mexico; and Europe.
The swatches will be updated every spring and fall. It is designed to show retailers and manufacturers the different textures and end uses of the fabrics that use Celanese Acetate.
A similar library will open at the company's office in Los Angeles by the end of the month.
We would love your feedback!
