Brooklyn, N.Y. —
Martha Stewart is scheduled to speak at Pratt Institute's 15th annual President's Lecture Series later this month. This free and open-to-the-public event is set for 6 p.m. April 27 at the Memorial Hall Auditorium on the art and design college's campus here.
Stewart will discuss "Artistic Inspiration as a Basis for Business," and relates this to her long career as an entrepreneur in the home business, which she has grown into an empire that spans TV, radio, magazines and retail with her signature merchandise line — the Martha Stewart Collection — at Macy's, along with other programs such as the discount line at Kmart and a food offering with Costco.
Seating is by reservation only and must be requested by April 13 via email at events@pratt.edu. A simulcast of the lecture will be provided on site (Higgins Hall Auditorium, 61 St. James Place) to accommodate additional viewers.
We would love your feedback!
