Bay Shore, N.Y. —
Decorative fabric supplier Duralee Fabrics has partnered with Clodagh, the author and interior design guru known for eco-conscious interiors, to launch a "green" collection at the fall High Point Market.
Duralee says the collection will include organic cottons, recycled polys and renewable bamboo, and will have the look and feel of high-end residential fabric. It will be shown in the company's redesigned High Point showroom at 330 N. Hamilton.
"It's an incredible partnership," said Martin Rosenberger, president of Duralee. "Teaming up with Clodagh creates a strong alliance of people committed to the environment. We are very pleased with our relationship."
The company said Clodagh is a design leader committed to the green movement. She has won awards for commercial and residential projects including Miraval Resort and Spas, W hotels and Equinox Fitness Clubs.
Her firm also designs accessories, bathroom fixtures, furniture, lighting, textiles and floor coverings.
Her latest book, "Your Home, Your Sanctuary" ( Rizzoli New York), is a sourcebook for achieving harmony at home and focuses on what Clodagh believes are ways to shape indoor and outdoor space into a tranquil environment that will free the mind, nurture the spirit and embrace the body.
