New York - Bloomberg News is reporting that ecommerce behemoth Amazon.com plans to open a physical store in Seattle.
Bloomberg's Hitha Prabhakar, citing unnamed sources, said the store will be smaller than a typical book superstore and will focus on "higher-end merchandise and Amazon exclusives" such as the Kindle tablet.
A date for the opening was not provided in the report and Amazon has not commented on the story.
